The Level 4 Ski Mountaineering component is the final level in the Mountain Ski Training Program. Our most advanced course utilizing the skills of all three previous levels obtained plus the final Ski Mountaineering chapter. The Ski Mountaineering course focus's on alpine couloir’s, faces, ridges and steep skiing.

Getting high is what it's all about. The Level 4 course is only offered in the spring when the conditions are right. Venues used are Spearhead Backcountry, Tantalus Range, Roger's Pass and the mighty Canadian Rockies.

The small groups gives our athlete's high quality instruction and coaching. Prerequisite: Level 3 Alpine and Glacier
Length: 4 days. Can be done in two weekends.

  • Couloir climbing and skiing

  • Alpine objectives

  • Alpine ridge climbing.

  • Rappelling

  • Ski Mountaineering Skills

  • Snow and Ice Climbing
